Students of the New Media semester project “Get Out Of The Loop” take part in exhibition
Since September 2019, the “Zentrum der Netzkunst” has regularly awarded a “Telegram Residency” to artists and activists to examine the aesthetic, political and cultural significance of the still young phenomenon of stickers.
This resulted in a total of 19 sticker sets, which were published on the Telegram Channel https://t.me/ZentrumderNetzkunst and can now be seen in an analogous exhibition in Berlin’s panke.gallery.
New Media students of Professor Olia Lialina’s semester project “Get Out Of The Loop!” also participated in a residency and created a Matrjoshka (Матрешка) sticker set. Download the sticker set for Telegram here: https://t.me/addstickers/Matrjoshka
With works by: Cho Won Kim, Cora Lenz, Olia Lialina, Nadja Schmidle, Tim Schmitt, Marla Schneider and Amelie Vogelmann
Vernissage: Saturday, 13 June 2020, 16-22 Exhibition: 17 June – 4 July 2020 (Wednesday-Saturday, 15-19)
