Robot? Gender and Social Robots from a Social Psychological Perspective
The lecture opens a social psychological perspective on the development of new technologies using the example of social robots. Based on recent empirical-experimental research, we will explore whether and how design decisions and features of social robots, but also user characteristics, influence our perception, thinking, and behavior. The implications of such design decisions will be discussed.
