The connection between language and space is not only found in everyday life, but also in the work of artists. At the Master Forum “Language of Space”, various experts from the media and social sectors will speak about the significance of language and space in society, art and film.

11:00-11:30 a.m.
Tabea Konrad, graduate psychologist, talks about her work as a counselor at the Women’s Counseling and Therapy Center in Stuttgart and about the topic of sexual harassment.
11:40-12:10 a.m.
Denis Esakov, multimedia artist and author, is currently working on his master’s thesis (spatial strategies) at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin. He will talk about his artistic exploration of not knowing through movement, time and the body.
1:10-1:40 p.m.
Maximilian Pfisterer, Creative Director from Stuttgart (Studio Frischvergiftung), will give us insights into interdisciplinary projects. The focus of his work is on the conception, design and implementation of digital experiences.
1:50-2:20 p.m.
Christine Lang, filmmaker and dramaturg. Her new production “AufRuhr” combines film, performance, language and space and can currently be seen at Theater Essen.
2:30-3:00 p.m.
Vasilis Katsoupis, director and producer. His first English-language feature film “Inside” starring Willem Dafoe was shot in Cologne and will be released this year.
The lectures of Denis Esakov and Vasilis Katsoupis will be in English, all other speakers will give their lectures in German.
