“Pointmania” is a test laboratory of a futuristic city based on the social credit system in China. The project aims to draw attention to the issues of surveillance and data surveillance and to inform about the risks.
The new “citizens” of Pointmania are interactively tested for their suitability as exemplary and honest citizens. They receive a score based on their behaviour. Those who disregard the rules and the will of the rulers will be punished with a point deduction.
