The idea of one human identity seems really close in a globalized world, yet the issues about and dynamics of (cultural) identity is a very central one in everyday life. Migration and tourism from any motivation and the connectivity of the internet are the birthplace for new, what one could call ‘hybrid identities’. The music film HYBRID portrays three possible ‘hybrid identities’ and a possible debate in the free form of choreographies by Jamie Lang. The three performances are staged apart of each other, connected through scenes from the everyday lives of the characters.
