While waiting at an airport, the young Pingting imagines her life being turned in a new direction from here. In the film, the airport functions as a place in between – between the near and the far, the present and the future, the familiar and the foreign. The airport as a border from which different possibilities, directions and destinations emerge, a place charged with desires and dreams and, at the same time, a non-place that is conceived, free of allocations, merely as a transit station.
