This book deconstructs and reconstructs.
In this project, I embark on a visual journey through the composition of film posters and analyse individual elements, arrangements, readings and much more. The extensive visual analysis is preceded by a theoretical examination. I use these findings for the redesign of selected posters. In the third part, recognized poster artists have their say.
This project should provoke and inspire and contribute to the fact that the analysis and creation of film posters experiences a diversification and can thus create the jump from the generic style.
