Eva’s apartment has been evacuated. The 70-year-old pensioner from Stuttgart finds shelter in an emergency shelter. There she meets the 25-year-old Cameroonian Isa, who is about to be deported. Although the two couldn’t be more different, they become friends. They dream of being free from oppression and structural violence. This bleak reality of life, in which the days are restless, cold and dark, reflects the development of current politics.
