A strong international character describes the first semester students in the Masters Program, with backgrounds from China, Russia, El Salvador, Greece, Italy and Turkey. Communication was a central concern for both the teaching and topics of study. Courses were conducted between English, German and Chinese to ensure maximum inclusivity and understanding. Students embraced many forms to conduct and present their research, such as graphic design, photography and video.
